Our Story

In 2022, I began my bachelor’s degree at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, Piemonte.

During my studies, I became deeply curious about the local food landscape — not only what people eat, but the culture, history, and people behind it. I started traveling through small villages and rural areas, meeting the artisans and farmers who shape the character and flavor of the region. Through these encounters, I realized that every product — a cheese, a wine, a loaf of bread — carries the story of those who make it and the land it comes from.

Listening to their stories, tasting their work, and understanding their way of life made me realize something simple but powerful: that anyone visiting a place should have the chance to meet the people who give it meaning. To slow down, to connect, and to experience a territory through its people and traditions.

That’s how GiroTu was born — from curiosity, respect, and a desire to share authentic experiences that go beyond tourism. It’s not just about visiting; it’s about participating, being present, and understanding the deep relationship between food, nature, and culture.

GiroTu creates curated gastronomic experiences that connect travelers with local producers and artisans — fostering meaningful relationships between people, place, and tradition.
